How long will this vibrator last?
That normally depends on how often you use it and how well you treat it. Here are some HOT TIPS if you want your vibrator to live a long and happy life
1. Store it in a clean, dry place;
2. Don’t get water in the battery case/charging mechanism;
3. Take the batteries out when you’re not using the toy (if battery operated);
4. Don’t drop it on hard surfaces;
5. Follow the charging guidelines (for rechargeable vibrators); and
6. Read all the manufacturer’s instructions carefully.
(HOT HOT TIP We cannot stress this enough – WE have made plenty of mistakes!)
Can I use rechargeable batteries in sex toys?
It’s ok to use rechargeable batteries in some vibrators, but in others it’s not. Some rechargeable batteries are slightly bigger than their non-rechargeable counterparts, which mean they can get lodged in the battery casings of your toy. Rechargeable batteries are also often weaker and drain faster, which don’t always make them ideal for vibrators. That said, rechargeable batteries do just as well in some of the higher quality vibrator brands.
How long does it take to charge my rechargeable vibrator?
This depends on the make of vibrator. It usually takes somewhere between 2-12 hours the first time, but you should read the manufacturer’s manual for specific instructions.
HOT TIP Before the first time you use your rechargeable vibe, make sure to charge it all the way up. After the first time, subsequent charging shouldn’t take as long.
I want to buy my first vibrator. Which one should I get?
That really depends on you. Everyone has their own personal preferences, and what may be exactly right for me, may not be the best thing for you. We do, however, recommend getting a vibrator that has multiple speeds so that you can see if you like a more subtle or intense vibration.
HOT TIP Always purchase or use a nice lubricant to go with your vibrator – lubricant will make this a far more pleasurable experience, especially for the rabbit.
Which vibrators are quiet?
Silicone vibrators are generally quieter than hard plastic vibes. The Lelo, Vibease & WeVibe products are very quiet, as are the Picobong Honi and Zizo. Fun Factory’s rechargeable vibes are also near silent. Our Special Rabbit is also a super silent bunny!
Can I hurt myself with a vibrator?
Vibrators are as safe as any other small electrical device as long as they’re used according the instructions and with common sense.
HOT TIP Do not try and place a vibrator in your anus that is not for your anus. We have plenty of brilliant anal toys, pick one of those for your anal bliss & satisfaction
Can I electrocute myself with my vibrator?
This is unlikely. Battery-powered or rechargeable vibrators do not have enough voltage to cause serious injury. Exercise the same safety cautions you would in using any other electric device.
Can I get an infection from my vibrator?
Yes, women can get yeast infections or bacterial vaginal infections from using vibrators or other sex toys that have not been properly cleaned. You can also get a vaginal infection if the vibrator spreads germs from the anal area to the vagina (i.e., if you use it in or near your anus, and then use it in or near your vagina without washing it first).
HOT TIP Sex toys should always be cleaned after use with mild antibacterial soap and warm water, or a disinfectant sex toy cleanser, and should likewise be washed after being used anally before being used in or near the vagina.
Do All Vibrators Feel the Same?
ABSOLUTLY NOT! Vibrators vary greatly in speed and intensity of vibration, from a gentle hum to a merciless throb. Some have multiple speeds and settings, and the material that they are made out of will also affect the sensation produced. Battery-powered vibrators are generally less powerful, while plug-in electrical models have stronger motors.
What kind of lube should I use on my vibrator?
Water-based lube is compatible with all types of vibrating sex toys and are the easiest to clean up.
Should I put a condom over my vibrator?
For solo play, a condom is not necessary unless you really want to make clean up easy.
HOT TIP If you are sharing your vibrator with a sex partner (or partners), put a condom over it and change the condom each time it is used by a different person. In either case, if you are inserting the vibrator both vaginally and anally, use a condom on the vibrator and change it between orifices to avoid infection.
How do I use vibrators to stimulate my G-spot?
Insert the vibrator 2 to 3 inches into the vagina and angle it up, toward your belly button, so it presses the upper vaginal wall. Stroke the vibrator in and out, pressing up on the outstroke.
HOT TIP If you feel like you have to pee, you’re doing it right.
What’s good about a remote controlled vibrator?
Aside from the convenience of wireless operation, the main uses of remote control vibrators are playing with them covertly, or allowing one partner to literally surrender control to the other.
